Lizzo is sharing that an unexpected rainstorm caused runway chaos at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show on Saturday in Florida.
“Oh my god, it was so fun,” the “Good as Hell” hitmaker told SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy in a new interview of performing at the fashion event.
“It was so crazy because it was raining out of nowhere and the runways were slippery as f–k,” she said. “People were slipping and eating s–t all night.”
While the Grammy-winning singer described the Miami Swim Week event as “so intense,” she emphasized that “everyone was such a good sport” and “kept pushing through.”
“I didn’t slip,” she noted.
When asked if she “met anybody for the first time” at the iconic swimwear-themed event, the “About Damn Time” singer recounted meeting influencer Alix Earle.
“She’s, like, stunning,” Lizzo said. “Like, I actually couldn’t believe what I was looking at. I was like, ‘Damn bitch, I get it!’”
Lizzo, 38, headlined the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show at the W South Beach alongside Earle, 25.
Other notable stars who walked the runway included: “Real Housewives of New York” alum Bethenny Frankel, 55; Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, 25; “Girls Trip” actress Tiffany Haddish, 46; “Vanderpump Rules” alum Stassi Schroeder, 37; and “Baywatch” bombshell Brooks Nader, 29; among others.
The Yitty shapewear designer modeled an electric blue bodysuit emblazoned with the word “Bitch” for the show — a nod to her bluntly-named new album, which dropped Friday.
“I felt so sucked in,” Lizzo gushed of the big night when asked about the eye-catching bathing suit, a plunging one-piece from her own fashion line.
She further joked, “The girls were — the Yittys were Yittying,” adding that she recalled thinking, “We have to put ‘Bitch’ on this suit, and we just did it.”
Lizzo later joined Frankel, Earle, Shay Mitchell and more for a star-studded afterparty at E11even Miami, where a source told Page Six they “feasted on chicken fingers, fries and plenty of tequila shots.”
As for the new album, the “Juice” songstress revealed her favorite new track, despite admitting that it “changes every day.”
“Right now I’m loving ‘Sexy Ladies’ and I think it’s because everyone loves sexy ladies. And it’s so easy to love it. It’s summer, right?”
