Amid rumors about his future in Boston, Celtics star Jaylen Brown has listed his swanky apartment for just short of $5million.
Brown, 29, has put his expensive loft located in the Seaport District up for sale over a month after the Celtics were eliminated from the NBA Playoffs.
The 3,500 square foot residence, which is being sold by George Sarkis and Roy Bahnam of The Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman, includes both a three-bedroom apartment and an adjacent studio.
In total, the space covers four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one half bathroom and is listed for $4.95million
The space, which is described as ‘industrial-chic’, features 12 foot tall original wood beam ceilings and exposed brick walls with plenty of light.
The penthouse, located at the intersection of Melcher and Necco Streets, has a massive open-concept living area and a full chef’s kitchen equipped with an eat-in island and top-of-the-line appliances.
Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has once again listed his penthouse apartment for sale
His penthouse plus adjoining studio, totaling four bedrooms and 3.5 baths, is listed for $4.95m
The space in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood also includes an expansive roof deck
Brown’s apartment features a gaudy portrait of boxing legend Muhammad Ali above the bed
The penthouse apartment also features a games area, headlined by a huge pool table
The three bedrooms are described as ‘generously sized’ and includes a primary suite ‘with walk-in closets, a double vanity, and a walk-in shower.’
Other features of the unit are a full bath, powder room, and in-unit washer and dryer as well as a private 400+ square foot roof deck.
The listing adds that the adjoining studio creates ‘exceptional flexibility and value.’
This is not the first time that Brown has tried selling this home, putting it on the market with the same agency back in 2024.
Brown is coming off the best season of his career and was the team’s leader in points in a year where the Celtics missed co-star Jayson Tatum for most of the campaign.
As such, multiple teams are interested in trying to pry Brown away from Boston. Doing so would likely require a hefty package of assets and picks and it’s to be determined if the Celtics would even consider such a deal.
