This is the dramatic moment a baby deer was plucked from a flooded, fast-flowing river by a firefighter in Indiana.
After a helping a driver stuck in floods on North Mann Road in Morgan County, Madison Township Fire Department were clearing the scene when they heard a fawn in distress being carried rapidly down stream in the current.
Captain Joe Sinclair was tethered to a rope and entered the water, managing to grab the animal before it was carried past. It is now recovering at an animal shelter.
