A wife fired back at her husband over his plans to vote for Ken Paxton during a TV interview in Texas.

Speaking to MS Now on Monday (25 May), married couple Gayla and Michael Stefan were questioned on who they were supporting for the state’s Republican Senate primary; Donald Trump-backed Paxton or incumbent John Cornyn.

“It’s not a great choice, either one really,” said Michael Stefan, though said he is leaning towards Mr Paxton as “Cornyn hasn’t always been with the Republicans the way I would like”.

Conversely, Gayla voiced her strong dislike for Mr Paxton, who she branded a “crook”. Mr Paxton is facing allegations of bribery and fraud.
