Jacob Elordi has revealed that he shot a terrifying scene for the latest episode of Euphoria with a real snake.
In the seventh episode of the third series of the HBO drama, which premiered on Sunday (24 May), the Saltburn star’s character, Nate Jacobs, was killed after he was buried alive in a coffin with a rattlesnake.
Discussing the disturbing sequence, the actor revealed that a boa constrictor, rather than a rattlesnake, was inside the coffin with him.
“He was super cute; he was really cuddly,” Elordi said. “So he kind of just sidled up next to me, and it was nice, but he was really sleepy. He was a sleepy snake. I had to kind of nudge him to get him to come up, and that was it.”
