The Trump administration is set to imminently release UFO files containing encounters with pilots, months after President Trump teased the release of documents related to extraterrestrials, according to a report.
Representative Tim Burchett, a member of the House Oversight Committee’s Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, allegedly unveiled the timeframe during a West Wing meeting on Thursday.
“It’s going to start tomorrow (Friday),” Burchett told an independent journalist, who shared the conversation with The New York Post. “It’s going to have some stuff in there from pilots, and maybe one video.”
Sources told the publication that the materials could relate to encounters between U.S. pilots on active duty and unidentified aerial phenomena, another term for UFOs.

However, according to the report, the first release will not include the 46 videos whose release Representative Anna Paulina Luna requested in a letter to the Department of Defense. Successive releases will be unveiled in weekly instalments.
Burchett lauded President Trump as the “president of transparency and disclosure,” but admitted that “transparency won’t all happen at once.”
He added, “It will take some time.”
Trump, who directed federal agencies to release files related to extraterrestrial life in February, teased the unveiling of some “very interesting” UFO information last week.
“We’re going to be releasing a lot of things that we haven’t,” he said at a White House event celebrating NASA astronauts. “I think some of it’s going to be very interesting to people.”
In April, he told supporters at a Turning Point USA event that the releases would begin “very, very soon.”
“So you can go out and see if that phenomena is correct,” the president said. “You’ll figure it out.”

On Tuesday, though, former President Obama threw cold water on the idea that the government actually had any extraterrestrial lifeforms in custody.
“Here’s the thing,” he said on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “For those of you who still think that we’ve gotten little green men underground somewhere, one of the things you learn as president is the government is terrible at keeping secrets.”
Addressing conspiracy theories that the government is in possession of alien spaceships, Obama added, “I promise you some guy guarding the installation would have taken a selfie with one of the aliens and sent it to his girlfriend to impress her. There would be leaks.”
The former president went on to say that, should aliens ever make contact with the human race, he thinks that he would be a good “emissary.”
“I’ve got some experience at statecraft and diplomacy,” he quipped. “I’m friendly.”
Obama added, “But it hasn’t happened yet.”
