Late “Storage Wars” star Darrell Sheets’ cell phone is currently being analyzed amid claims he was cyberbullied before his tragic death.

Sheets’ death was officially ruled a suicide Tuesday by the the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office in Arizona. The reality star died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, per the Lake Havasu Police Department.

Authorities are now analyzing Sheets’ cell phone as they continue to investigate the cyberbullying claims, police shared in a statement Tuesday.

“The Lake Havasu City Police Department has received confirmation from the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office that the manner of death in the investigation involving Darrell Sheets has been ruled a suicide, pending the completion of toxicology results,” the statement obtained by Us Weekly reads.

“Our agency continues to actively investigate allegations of cyberbullying associated with this case,” the statement continued. “The Criminal Investigations Unit has submitted Darrell Sheets’ cellular phone for forensic analysis and is currently awaiting the results.”

Police noted, “This investigative step is essential to advancing the case.”

Sheets died in his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, last month, the Lake Havasu Police Department shared in a previous press release.

The A&E star, who was a main cast member on “Storage Wars” for 13 years from 2010 to 2023, was 67 years old.

Shortly after his death, his “Storage Wars” castmate Rene Nezhoda shared in an Instagram Story that Sheets was being bullied online.

“He had this guy, like, really, really tormenting him lately and cyberbullying [him],” Nezhoda said.

“Darrell has been posting a lot about the guy that’s been cyberbullying him and tormenting him, and I really hope [law enforcement] look into that guy and it’s just not a pass,” he added.

Sheets’ loved ones and former castmates have shared tributes to him after his death. Sheets’ son, Brandon Sheets — who also appeared on “Storage Wars” from 2010 to 2016 — mourned the death of his father last Thursday in an emotional Instagram post.

“My heart is so broken….I love you Dad and I will do my best to live in your honor and respect our Family,” Brandon wrote, alongside a snapshot with his father in Medieval Times crowns.

“Let’s all continue to build those memories and keep the legacy that is ‘Darrell (The Gambler) Sheets,” he continued, referring to his nickname on “Storage Wars.”

“I cant answer everyone’s questions or concerns right now, I think we all just need time to process and remember all the good that my Father was and will continue to be through my Son and I.”
