Aston Villa are open to selling young winger Tommi O’Reilly amid growing interest from Oxford United, Portsmouth and Huddersfield Town.
The 22-year-old has been starring on loan at Crewe Alexandra in League Two where he has made 49 appearances this season and caught the eye with 21 goal involvements, including seven of his own.
The skillful O’Reilly was compared in style to Manchester City’s Phil Foden when he broke through at Villa’s academy where he was a member of the 2021 FA Youth Cup winning side.
He also impressed then manager Steven Gerrard enough to be drafted into the first team set up.
However, he has since had loan spells in Spain, at MK Dons, Shrewsbury Town and Crewe to gain more regular first team experience.

He has proved his robustness this season starting 45 of Crewe’s league games and was nominated for League Two player of the month in March.
Villa are understood to be open to selling for around £1million as they look to raise funds to channel back into Unai Emery’s squad and will consider offers from Huddersfield and Oxford as interest continues to build.
O’Reilly is also being monitored by the Republic of Ireland following his impressive campaign.
