An SNL writer has shared an emotional post in the search for his missing sister, who vanished five months ago without trace.

Christina Lynn Downer, the sister of Jimmy Fowlie, disappeared suddenly last year, with police sharing that she was last contacted in late November. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Fowlie, 40, took to Instagram to share an image of Downer as a young girl, adding that he was “thinking about her everyday.”

“For the people who have asked, there’s no updates i (sic) can share,” he wrote. “thank you (sic) for checking in and for your prayers.”

Downer, who was 38 at the time of her disappearance, was last seen in the Koreatown neighborhood, according to another post uploaded by Fowlie.

Fowlie said on Instagram that the last time he saw Downer in-person was on September 17. According to him, anyone spoke to her on the phone was on October 5, and messages from her cellphone continued to be sent into December.

Downer posted on social media for a final time on December 15, Fowlie wrote. In a missing persons poster shared by the LAPD on December 22, she was described as being 5’01”, and as having brown hair and brown eyes.

Fowlie shared the poster on his social media account, adding, “We are worried that she isn’t safe.”

Two days later, Fowlie told his followers that his sister was “very attached to her dog Rex.”

According to him, it was likely that she would be with the Miniature Pinscher.

“This is not like her, she’s never gone off grid like this,” he said in an update on December 28.

Later, in January, he urged his Instagram followers to reach out to the LAPD if they had any information related to his sister’s disappearance.

“I’ve tried to picture a scenario where she just took off on her own, but none of our family or her friends think she’d leave her dog behind,” he wrote.

In the regular updates uploaded to his Instagram account, Fowlie often shares images of himself and Downer playing as children.

In one post, a girl can be seen dancing across a stage while wearing a blue ribbon and a tutu. Fowlie captioned the post with another appeal for help, noting that his sister has “no history of mental illness.”

Fowlie started writing for Saturday Night Live in 2022 and wrote the show’s Domingo sketch alongside Ceara O’Sullivan.

The original version of the sketch, which was titled Domingo: Bridesmaid Speech, starred pop star Ariana Grande.

Fowlie has also starred in a slew of popular TV shows, including Search Party, 2 Broke Girls, The Goldbergs, English Teacher and Good Girls.
