Practical, customisable framework to support your AI adoption

The Alan Turing Institute has published a framework to support organisations in developing and implementing responsible artificial intelligence (AI) projects.

The AI Use Case Framework is actionable and customisable, and offers

  • a four-step workflow
  • a way to categorise and prioritise AI use cases
  • a taxonomy of potential risks
  • a catalogue of AI risk mitigation measures

The framework is aimed at businesses in the early stages of AI adoption, as well as organisations looking to use AI to improve productivity and innovation. You can use it as a starting point to build on and develop your bespoke methodology to identify, select, and implement the right AI solutions.

Read the AI Use Case Framework.

Four sector briefing papers are also available to support the framework. These cover key BridgeAI priority sectors

  • agriculture, forestry and fishing
  • construction
  • creative industries
  • transportation and storage

These briefing papers set out key sector features, AI adoption challenges and five sector-specific AI use cases. You can access the sector briefing papers via the Innovate UK website.
