While the majority of the theatrics took place inside the ring at WrestleMania 42, one fan did their best to get in on the action after taking a nasty fall in the stands.

In a video that his gone viral on TikTok and X, the fan was watching from the upper level at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, on Saturday as Seth Rollins took on Gunther.

Emotions were already running high inside the arena and, following Gunther’s win, the chaos spilled over to the stands as the dejected fan came to terms with the result.

In the video – which was captioned: ‘When your guy loses at WrestleMania’ – the fan held his head in his hands and crouched over in disbelief.

However, as he did so, he completely lost his balance and fell forwards onto other fans seated in front of him, tumbling down multiple rows of seats.

He ended up landing on his head with his legs in the air, as startled fans around him attempted to make sense of what had happened.

After the impact, the fan appeared to struggle to get back to his feet. There have been no updates provided about his condition.

The moment instantly went viral on social media with some users expressing concern for the fan, while others simply mocked him for the embarrassing moment.

‘Oh, so that’s why they call it the nosebleeds,’ one fan joked on X.

Another wrote: ‘More entertaining than the show itself’.

‘Gunther put two people out with the sleeper,’ another said on the platform.

Gunther’s win saw him take his WrestleMania record to 2-2, having previously tasted defeat at ‘The Showcase of the Immortals’ last year.

The two-time World Heavyweight Champion had help from Bron Breakker to help seal the win over Rollins, after the former delivered a brutal spear to Gunther’s rival.

It proved to be chaotic weekend at Allegiant Stadium, with WWE icon Brock Lesnar bidding farewell to the sport following his loss to Oba Femi on Sunday evening.

After suffering defeat in just four minutes and 42 seconds, a tearful Lesnar laid his gloves and boots in the middle of the ring.

After the emotional act, Lesnar then had a passionate embrace with longtime friend and onscreen Paul Heyman, before turning and waving goodbye to the crowd.

On Netflix’s coverage of the event, fans could be heard chanting ‘Thank you, Lesnar’ as the 48-year-old made his way out of the ring for the final time.

Lesnar, who also had a stint as a heavyweight UFC fighter, walks away from the sport as a 10-time WWE champion, a two-time Royal Rumble winner and bona fide legend.

It didn’t take long for tributes to pour in for the 48-year-old, with Kurt Angle writing on X: ‘Love you my brother. There will only be one like you. Enjoy retirement Brock.’
