Thousands of pounds’ worth of illegal tobacco products were seized after officers uncovered a concealed stash beneath a trap door in a shop in Dover.
The find was made during a joint operation between Kent Police and Trading Standards, targeting illicit cigarettes and vapes.
A purpose-built hatch hidden under a desk concealed large quantities of goods, with several similar hides found across inspected premises. Investigations are ongoing.
