President Donald Trump posted an unedited video of a woman being bludgeoned to death with a hammer on his Truth Social account late last night.
In his 335-word post, Trump claimed that he felt that he had an “obligation” to post the video of what he described as a “brutal slaying.” The commander-in-chief accused the suspect of being an undocumented immigrant.
The post appeared hours after First Lady Melania Trump made an impromptu speech about Jeffrey Epstein and after the president slammed his former allies in the media.
The footage depicts a man, identified in a DHS press release as Rolbert Joachin, striking a car repeatedly with a hammer outside of a gas station in Fort Myers, Florida.
When a woman emerges from the store and appears to shout at the man, Joachin shifts his attention away from the vehicle and begins rapidly approaching her.
As he nears the woman, Joachin appears to shout something about “f***ing money” before jumping into the air and striking her with the hammer.

The video shows the suspect hitting the woman repeatedly with the weapon after she falls to the ground. The victim remains motionless after being struck.
According to the DHS, the incident unfolded in early April. Joachin was later arrested during a joint effort by the Fort Myers Police Department and ICE.
The Department of Homeland Security added that Joachin, from Haiti, had first entered the United States in 2022. A federal judge later issued a final removal order against him, but he was granted Temporary Protected Status, which expired in 2024.
The DHS said that ICE has lodged a detainer against Joachin, who will be deported regardless of the outcome of the investigation.
On Truth Social, Trump branded Joachin an “animal” and claimed that Temporary Protected Status was a “massively abused and fraudulent program.”
The president claimed that the killing should stop so-called “Radical Judges” from “impeding” his immigration crackdown.

“As I’ve said all along, if you import the Third World, you become the Third World, and that is what happened over the four years of Democrat Control,” he claimed, after suggesting that former President Joe Biden allowed “mentally insane” people to enter the country.
During a pretrial hearing, Fort Myers Police Detective Laynor Rodriguez reportedly testified that Joachin had confessed to the murder, Naples Daily News reported.
Rodriguez said that Joachin wore the same clothes he had worn during a previous encounter with the victim so she would have recognized him.
The victim was named as Nilufa Easmin during the hearing.

Rodriguez accused the suspect of intentionally attacking Easmin’s car so that she would come outside. Easmin, also known as Yasmin, was a clerk at the gas station.
“Everybody, like, right now is sad. You know, you not only me, not only my Bangladeshi community,” a local man named M.D. Islam told the Gulf Coast News.
Easmin was a native of Bangladesh.
A GoFundMe campaign to support Easmin’s daughters was launched by the Bangladesh Association of Southwest Florida following her death.
“Easmin was a devoted mother who worked tirelessly to provide for her two young daughters,” the campaign page reads. “The loss of Easmin has created an unimaginable void in the lives of her daughters.”
