Surveillance footage captures the moment a group of children had a lucky escape from a fiery motorcycle crash.

Video shows the runaway bike hurtling towards the children in San Antonio, Texas, with the rider skidding along the road behind it.

As the bike hits the curb, it bursts into flames and the passers-by can be seen fleeing whilst the driver ran to the other side of the street and rolled in the grass to extinguish flames.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the children were unharmed in the incident. The driver was treated for second-degree burns and is expected to make a full recovery.
