Dakota Mortensen accused ex Taylor Frankie Paul of scratching and hitting him during their domestic abuse incident in February that halted filming of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
According to a Feb. 23 report from Utah’s Draper City Police Department obtained by Page Six, Mortensen’s friend reported to police that the reality star was the victim of a domestic violence assault by his ex-girlfriend.
Mortensen then told police that there were “two incidents of physical assault involving grabbing, scratching, shoving, and striking,” the report states.
The report also records that Mortensen was “apprehensive” to report the incidents due to his ex’s “high public profile,” and that police obtained photographs of Mortensen’s “neck scratches.”
Mortensen and Paul dated on and off from 2022-2024, and share a 2-year-old son, Ever.
They’ve been involved in multiple domestic violence incidents.
Following “SLOMW” abruptly stopping filming earlier this month, Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette” was canceled after TMZ published video of their altercation in 2023.
In the disturbing video, Paul hurled metal chairs at Mortensen, while her 8-year-old daughter, Indy — who was 5 at the time — was heard crying nearby.
Paul was arrested over the 2023 incident and charged with three felonies — one count of aggravated assault and two of domestic violence in the presence of a child — as well as one misdemeanor count each of child abuse and criminal mischief.
She pleaded guilty to the aggravated assault under a plea deal that would reduce the charge to a misdemeanor if she abided by her three-year probation, and the other charges were dismissed.
The exes are also involved in a third domestic violence incident being investigated by the West Jordan Police Department.
“The allegations were reported at the end of February 2026, and detectives have reviewed video believed to have been recorded in early to mid-2024.”
