Leigh Leopards forward Owen Trout will join National Rugby League side Cronulla Sharks for the 2027 season.
The England international, who won his first cap against Australia in last year’s Ashes series, has agreed a two-year deal with the Sharks.
The move will bring to an end the 26-year-old’s three-season stint with Leopards, having signed for them in October 2023.
“Owen’s style of play is well suited for success in the NRL,” Sharks’ general manager Darren Mooney told the club website., external
