Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas is considered to be the overwhelming favorite to host the Super Bowl in 2029.
According to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, it is a ‘matter of formality’ that the home of Tom Brady’s Raiders will host the NFL’s biggest game once again.
The decision will reportedly be signed off officially at the annual NFL owners meeting, due to take place next week in Phoenix.
Allegiant Stadium, which only opened in 2020, has already welcomed one Super Bowl.
It played host to the Kansas City Chiefs’ thrilling 25-22 overtime win over the San Francisco 49ers in February 2024.
Allegiant Stadium, which also hosts UNLV football games, is used to regularly staging major events. WWE’s flagship show, WrestleMania, will be held there in April for the second-consecutive year while the NCAA will hold the CFP National Championship game there in January 2027.

Next season’s Super Bowl will be played at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Valentine’s Day
Next season’s Super Bowl, to be played on Valentine’s Day in February 2027, will take place at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles – the home of the Rams and Chargers.
That will be the second Super Bowl played at SoFi after the Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals on their own field to win the Lombardi Trophy in 2022.
The following year, in February 2028, the NFL’s two best teams will battle for the Lombardi Trophy at the Falcons’ Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
That will also mark the second time it has hosted after Brady and Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots beat the Rams 13-3 in 2019.
