In a season where costs can quickly rack up, from purchasing the best Easter eggs for gifting, to all the trimmings for the Easter lunch, receiving help with the food shop is particularly enticing. So when Lidl announced that it’s giving away £5 million worth of vouchers, rest assured we were all ears.
That’s right: shoppers at Lidl can get £50 off their food shop starting this week with a voucher, as part of the budget supermarket’s Easter promotion.
From this Thursday (26 March) until 4 April, Lidl is offering 100,000 vouchers worth £50 to customers.

To bag the money off your shop, you simply need to open the Lidl Plus App and tap on the virtual Easter egg to reveal the prize.
Aside from the £50 voucher, there are also £5 discount coupons or vouchers you can redeem for complimentary items (many of which include Easter treats).
There’s no purchase required to take part in the promotion, so you can head to the Lidl app to see if you’ve won before buying anything.
If you win a prize, keep in mind that each voucher carries an expiry date so make sure to use your winnings before they expire.
