After three weeks of US and Israeli airstrikes, President Donald Trump has declared that Iran’s ballistic missile infrastructure had been “completely obliterated.”
But within 24 hours of that statement, Iran launched ballistic missiles targeting the Diego Garcia air base in the Chagos Islands and sites in Israel – raising questions over the effectiveness of the US-led campaign and the accuracy of Trump’s claim.
