Simone Biles is already preparing to settle into her new life in Indianapolis – including a new set of friends.
The Olympic icon is set to relocate to Indiana after her NFL husband, Jonathan Owens, signed a deal with the Indianapolis Colts in free agency last week.
The move lands the gymnast in the heart of Indiana Fever territory, where WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark plies her trade.
And it appears that some members of the Fever are already rolling out the red carpet for the seven-time gold medalist.
Biles, 29, celebrated the news of her husband’s new deal on social media on March 13, writing: ‘[I’m] excited to call Indy home this upcoming football season. Beyond proud of you @jowens! Keep defeating the odds, I love you.’
Lexie Hull, Fever guard and close teammate to Clark, warmly welcomed Biles to the city, writing in the comments: ‘Indy is excited to have you!!’

Biles later replied with a quip about their height difference, posting: ‘@lexiehulll lunch??? I’ll bring my stilts!!’
Hull and Biles already know each other through their work on Athleta’s Power of She Collective.
The hoops star joined the collective in January 2025 alongside Biles, swimmer Katie Ledecky and fellow WNBA player Kate Martin.
Hull became close friends with Clark following the former No. 1 overall pick’s arrival in Indiana in 2024.
The duo, alongside fellow Fever star Sophie Cunningham, formed a tight-knit group, becoming playfully known as the team’s ‘Tres Leches,’ which translates from Spanish to the ‘Three Milks.’
However, Hull’s future as part of the trio is in doubt as she is a restricted free agent ahead of the new WNBA season.
After the league and its players’ union finally agreed to a new collective bargaining agreement this week, the free agency signing period will now take place from April 12 to 18, with the Fever looking to re-sign a number of their 2025 roster.
As a restricted free agent, the Fever have the right to match any other team’s offer, and if they do so, then Hull will remain in Indiana with Clark, and now, Biles as well.
During the 2025 season, Hull started 30 regular-season games and all eight playoff games. She averaged career highs of 7.2 points and 4.3 rebounds.
