Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chains Potential High Growth SMEs

Funding of up to £2 million for UK‑registered micro, small and medium‑sized enterprises (SMEs) to support pre-commercialisation projects. 

This competition opens on 18 March 2026 and closes at 11am on 22 April 2026.

Who it is for

This competition is open to single applicants.

To work alone, your organisation must be a UK-registered SME.

Your project must

  • focus on one or more of the supply chains in the Advanced Manufacturing Sector Plan frontier industries
  • have a grant funding request of between £50,000 and £100,000
  • last between three months and nine months
  • start by 1 August 2026
  • end by 30 April 2027

You must have built a basic version of the product or service, for example, a prototype or Minimum Viable Product (MVP) at TRL 6 or higher. Your prototype or MVP must focus on delivering an improvement in the resource efficiency or resilience of the supply chain. 

Support you can get

This competition aims to enable SMEs to unlock barriers to commercialisation and scaling in the UK.

You can get funding for your eligible project costs of up to

  • 70% if you are a micro or small organisation
  • 60% if you are a medium-sized organisation
