Tyson Fury might already have one eye on his looming return to the ring but the latest trailer for At Home with the Furys makes one thing clear: the road back hasn’t been smooth at home.

The former heavyweight champion, who is set to fight again on April 11 against Arslanbek Makhmudov, opens the teaser insisting he’s ‘happily retired’ – a claim that quickly unravels as the footage rolls on.

At first, it’s all picture-perfect family life. Fury is seen soaking up sunshine on luxury holidays, spending time with wife Paris and their eight children, and even staging a lavish renewal of their wedding vows.

It’s the image of a man embracing life beyond the boxing ring, swapping the brutality of the sport for the comforts of Morecambe Bay. But beneath the surface, old habits die hard.

Within moments, Fury is back where he belongs, in the gym. Training sessions intensify, he’s shown coaching his sons, and in one clip, he steps into the ring to spar with brother Tommy Fury. It’s clear, his retirement was never going to last.

And at home, the decision to fight again doesn’t go down quietly.

Paris is adamant she wants Fury to remain retired

Paris Fury delivers a brutally honest verdict on her husband’s plans to return – bluntly calling him a ‘t***’ as tensions bubble over

In one of the trailer’s most striking moments, Paris Fury delivers a brutally honest verdict on her husband’s plans to return – bluntly calling him a ‘t***’ as tensions bubble over. It’s a glimpse into the very real strain his comeback places on family life, despite the glitz and glamour surrounding them.

It came as no surprise to Daily Mail Sport, as Fury had already revealed that his family did not support his decision to come out of retirement during an interview ahead of last month’s press conference announcing his comeback fight.

‘My dad stopped speaking to me for a while. My brothers stopped speaking to me, even Paris. Everybody cut me off,’ Fury said of the fallout after he chose to end yet another retirement and fight again.

The Gypsy King went on to add: ‘Nobody wanted me to return and they made that clear… but, it’s my decision and my life.’

Away from boxing, the series also leans heavily into the personal milestones unfolding within the Fury household.

Viewers are given a front-row seat as Fury’s daughter Venezuela’s partner approaches him to ask for permission to marry her. It’s a nerve-wracking moment for any suitor, let alone one involving the Gypsy King. The trailer then cuts to the emotional proposal itself.

According to the official synopsis, the new season follows Fury as he attempts to navigate ‘retirement’ – even as that notion begins to slip away – by throwing himself into new ventures. From investing in a racehorse to heading off on a family road trip to Monaco, he’s searching for purpose beyond the ring.

Meanwhile, Paris is carving out her own path, juggling business ambitions with the chaos of family life, while organising two major events: a lavish sweet sixteen celebration and the couple’s headline-grabbing vow renewal.

Season two of At Home with the Furys is set to launch on April 12, the day after his fight with Arslanbek Makhmudov

But if the trailer is anything to go by, the real story isn’t just about life outside boxing, it’s about how impossible Fury finds it to stay away.

Because while fans now know he will step back through the ropes on April 11, At Home with the Furys promises to show exactly how and at what cost that decision was made behind closed doors.
