New York Giants co-owners Steve, Laurie and Jonathan Tisch are transferring their ownership stakes in the team to their children’s trusts, the Daily Mail can confirm.

The decision comes after Steve’s name surfaced more than 400 times in court files related to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender who died in New York jail cell while awaiting trial on further charges in 2019.

A Giants spokesman told the Daily Mail the Tisch family’s decision is unrelated to the release of Steve’s name in the Epstein files.

The decision was revealed by an internal memo, first reported by ESPN.

The Tisch siblings collectively own 45 percent of the team, with the heirs of Giants founder Tim Mara controlling another 45 percent after a 10-percent sale to late billionaire David Koch’s family in September.

The team is worth $10.1 billion, according to Forbes’ latest valuation.
