UK Eurovision star Look Mum No Computer has shared what inspired him to write his song “Eins, Zwei, Drei.”

The electronics performer and experimental singer-songwriter, whose real name is Sam Battle, will take his track to the competition in Vienna in May.

“Eins, Zwei, Drei” is described as a song about “escaping the soul-crushing boredom of the nine-to-five, into a world of dreams and endless possibilities”, while musically it has “undertones of Britpop and Eighties synthwave”.

Speaking to The Independent, Battle said he wasn’t “out and out trying to write for Eurovision,” but wanted to include a “feeling of togetherness” he believes the contest is about.
