Ex-Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princesse Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, are said to be “horrified” by their father’s public scandal and arrest.

“Eugenie and Beatrice have had to change their upcoming public-facing plans and future plans this year,” a source told Us Weekly on Thursday, noting that the sisters — who are not working royals — “aren’t as worried about Andrew being arrested and going to jail, but they are still horrified that he’s involved in this and worry there could be more to come.”

The daughters of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, witnessed the stripping of their father’s titles — including Prince and Duke of York in October 2025 — as well as his 66th birthday arrest on Feb. 19 following the release of documents relating to the late Jeffrey Epstein.

He’s been accused of alleged misconduct in public office.

The ex-Prince was also ordered to vacate his longtime home at Royal Lodge, which he did last month.

The fallout has been “devastating” for his daughter, the source told the outlet, adding that “in London it’s all people are talking about.”

A second insider told the outlet that Beatrice and Eugenie — who was seen out with husband Jack Brooksbank on Feb. 24 — will scale back on public appearances “in the near future.”

The sisters “are not actually planning on doing any public events in the near future because of everything surrounding their parents because they know that will be the focus,” the second source explained to the outlet.

The source also claimed that Eugenie and Beatrice weren’t “banned” from the Royal Ascot this year due to the drama surrounding their father.

“They were not going to be there anyway,” the insider claimed. “They were not planning on attending.”

The Daily Mail reported earlier this week that the pair was “blindsided” by a decision not to allow them to attend the traditional event over their parents’ alleged ties to the late convicted sex offender.

The outlet’s second source also claimed they haven’t been “distanced” from royal family members amid Andrew’s scandal. They’re seen here with their dad in London in 2016. AFP via Getty Images
“They have been through enough,” the insider, who called them “victims,” claimed. They’re pictured here with their parents in 1999. Getty Images

“They have been through enough,” the source said. “They are not being blamed. There is a lot of compassion. They are not pariahs. They are cared for and loved under the circumstances which are incredibly painful.”

They added that “the only feelings that have changed are toward Andrew and Fergie. They don’t hold Beatrice and Eugenie accountable. They are victims. … They have had strong royal connections and are still getting support from them.”

A source recently told Page Six that Ferguson has been staying with friends amid the drama. She’s seen here with her daughters in London in March 2010. Getty Images

According to a source for Page Six, amid the drama, their mother has stayed with pals including Priscilla Presley — while noting that under the circumstances, it may be best for Ferguson to publicly keep her distance.

“Now that Andrew has lost his royal title, the girls are the only members of the family who are real royals,” an insider told us on Wednesday. “It’s more important than ever for them to be kept as far away from the scandal as possible.”

Reps for Eugenie and Beatrice, their parents, and Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton, did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on Thursday evening.
