Channel 7 reporter Tyra Stowers has revealed that she and Collingwood star Dan Houston have been dating.
The glamorous reporter, who had previously worked for 9News, revealed to The Herald Sun that she and the Magpies defender, aged 28, bonded over their love for dogs.
A graduate in journalism and public affairs from the Queensland University of Technology, Stowers would later join Channel 7 in 2024 after two years with the Nine Network.
The weather presenter and news reporter had previously worked for both Fox Sports Australia and as a guest producer for Sky News Australia.
Stowers, who has been working for Channel 7 ahead of the Australian Grand Prix this weekend, revealed the news to The Herald Sun on Thursday, adding that she was now a Collingwood fan.
‘It’s been great,’ Stowers, who hails from Perth, said.

‘We are in a really good place.
‘I’ll now be a Collingwood supporter!’
Houston joined the Magpies in 2024, having spent the early years of his professional career plying his trade with Port Adelaide.
The 186cm defender was drafted to the Power in the 2016 Rookie Draft.
He would go on to establish himself as one of the best defenders in the league, making 168 appearances for the South Australian outfit before he moved to the Victorian outfit.
Houston enjoyed an excellent first season for the Magpies in 2025, making 21 appearances for the club, enjoying perhaps his best performance against his old side in Round One, during which he amassed a season-high count of 27 disposals and five tackles.
He is 11 games shy of his 200th AFL appearance and is in the running to play for Collingwood in their 2026 curtain-raiser against St Kilda on Sunday.

He insisted that the Magpies can hit the ground running at the start of the 2026 AFL season
Houston was asked whether Collingwood can hit the ground running at the start of the new season, compared to their stunted start to last year.
‘I think it is a long year for sure and we’ve done a lot of training this summer and we’ve had two practice games where we’ve been able to try players in different positions,’ he said.
‘We’ll be full-strength and we’re looking forward to it.’
Speaking on Collingwood’s experienced list, Houston added: ‘Any experience you can get in front of big crowds always comes into play, whether it’s later on in the season or against a team that hasn’t quite experienced that before – it definitely plays into your hands,’ Houston said.
‘We’ve got an experienced list, too – we manage situations well, and especially high-pressure situations, so it’s definitely a massive factor for us.’
