The University of Michigan football staffer accused of having an affair with fired Wolverines coach Sherrone Moore is no longer with the program, the Daily Mail has confirmed.
A department spokesperson told the Daily Mail that Paige Shiver’s contract expired and she no longer works for Wolverines athletics. The spokesperson did not offer any more details on her departure from the program.
The Daily Mail has sought comment from Shiver’s attorney as well. TMZ was the first to report the development.
Shiver, who was Moore’s personal assistant, has not confirmed the affair, nor has she spoken publicly about the allegations.
Moore was fired in December for an ‘inappropriate relationship with a staff member,’ according to a school statement that did not mention Shiver by name.
Shortly after his firing, Moore was arrested near an apartment belonging to Shiver following a 911 call from her residence and another from his wife.

Moore is accused of barging his way through Shiver’s door, grabbing butter knives and scissors before threatening to kill himself. The 40-year-old father of three was arrested and charged with home invasion and stalking as well as breaking and entering.
Court documents reviewed by the Daily Mail do not name Shiver but do say an executive assistant claimed to have been in an ‘intimate relationship’ with Moore. He confirmed the affair to detectives, admitting that it had lasted ‘approximately two years.’
The staffer is alleged to have ended the relationship two days before the arrest. Later, she filed a formal report to the University of Michigan revealing the details of their secret romance.
Police and prosecutors say Moore bombarded his former mistress with ‘dozens of text messages and calls’ over the next two days.
‘I hate you. My blood is on your hand,’ he said, according to court transcripts.
Since then, Shiver has been identified as Moore’s alleged former mistress in numerous media reports. Furthermore, court files have referred to Moore’s alleged mistress as his executive assistant, which is her now-former title.

Although she’s now out of a job, Shiver did see her pay spike considerably over her three seasons in Ann Arbor. School records show Paige’s salary rose 70.6 percent over that time, from $58,025 in 2022 and 2023 to $99,000 in 2025.
Shiver, 32, has been a visible part of the Wolverines football program as Moore’s executive assistant. She’s also the daughter of Bears scout Jeff Shiver, who has been a constant presence with the historic NFL team since 1987.
Interestingly, the Bears drafted one of Moore’s players in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft in tight end Colston Loveland. The elder Shiver has also appeared at Michigan games with his daughter, as seen in one 2021 Instagram post that was ‘liked’ by Moore.
After dismissing Moore, Michigan has since hired former Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham to take over the storied football program.
