President Donald Trump has confirmed U.S. involvement in Israeli strikes across Iran, including Tehran on Saturday (28 February), in a “preventative attack”.
In an eight-minute speech the president called it a “major combat operation,” stating Iran could never have a nuclear weapon and adding: “It’s been mass terror, and we’re not going to take it any longer.”
Trump told reporters on Friday (27 February) in Washington that he was frustrated with the latest round of negotiations with Iran, saying he said he was “not happy” with how discussions were progressing.
