A footy prank did not go the way former NRL star Aaron Woods expected after he barged into the home of Cronulla star Toby Rudolf and found him doing yoga in the nude.

Woods, now working for radio network Triple M, gained access to Rudolf’s luxurious unit in the Sutherland Shire overlooking the beach.

Rudolf’s teammate Blayke Brailey gave Woods a key and he proceeded to head up the lift with a camera crew in tow.

But what they were greeted with was not what Woods was expecting. Well, not totally expecting anyway.

‘We’re going to go and open Toby Rudolf’s door, try and surprise him,’ Woods said.

‘This could be anything, this is very rogue.

‘We don’t know what he’s up to, if he’s awake, if he’s asleep or whatnot, if he’s got clothes, no clothes.

‘We’re just going to go into his room.’

The video cut to Woods and Brailey making their way to Rudolf’s door.

‘He’s got a lot of Crocs, there’s weird-looking shoes,’ Woods said.

‘We’re going in. Oh jeez, the smell hits you, it’s a big waft.’

That’s when he caught sight of the Sharks star, in his living room, completely naked.

‘Hey big dog, he’s nude,’ Woods declared.

‘He’s nude, what are you doing? He’s watching some yoga, he’s stretching. How you going big dog?’

Rudolf did not seem embarrassed at all by the stunt, leaning in for a big hug with Woods while still completely naked.

‘What’s going on here?’ Woods asked while cracking up laughing.

‘Is this how you get yourself ready for the morning?’

Rudolf replied: ‘This is one way, this is part of the process.

‘What are you doing in my house?’

Woods explained that he got the keys from Brailey.

‘I didn’t know you would be stretching nude,’ he laughed.

Rudolf fired back: ‘I didn’t know you would be in my house.’

‘He’s in downward dog running style,’ Woods said.

Rudolf replied: ‘I was about to be.’

The intrusion comes after reports Rudolf is keen to become the maiden signing for new NRL franchise Papua New Guinea.

‘I’ve also got mates who have surfed at Vanimo in PNG and they say the waves and coastline are so beautiful. The people in the village there are welcoming and kind and they loved it,’ Rudolf said.

‘All I ever do on my days off is message the team group chat – which no one replies to – “Hey boys, who wants to come for coffee? Who wants to get breakfast?” Crickets,’ Rudolf said.

‘In PNG, you’re in a compound with everyone, there is no escape from me, it’s my dream.

‘Don’t get me wrong, you’d probably get over it at some point in time, but what an experience to live in Papua New Guinea, would be f***ing wild.’
