Register for the self-case for artists workshops

Artists across Northern Ireland are invited to take part in a new series of free self-care workshops running throughout March 2026 in Derry~Londonderry and online.

The workshops are part of the Arts and Mental Health Partnership Programme, funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, the National Lottery, and the Baring Foundation.

After positive feedback from last year’s events, the 2026 programme offers two online sessions and five in-person workshops to help artists look after their wellbeing, manage finances, and build resilience.

What the workshops cover

The sessions offer practical advice and creative tools to support emotional and professional well-being. Topics include

  • Personalised Financial Advice (5-6 March 2026, online)
  • Building Resilience Food and Mood (5 March 2026, Millennium Forum)
  • Resilience in Practice (5 March 2026, Millennium Forum)
  • Striking the Balance in a Creative World (5 March 2026, Millennium Forum)
  • Assertiveness in Action – Managing Rejection (9 March 2026, Millennium Forum)
  • The Artist’s Manifesto (26 March 2026, The Playhouse)

All workshops include refreshments, with lunch provided at the full-day event.

How to book

Places are limited, so early booking is advised. You can book through the Arts Council of Northern Ireland Box Office.
