New England Patriots star Mack Hollins has never been one for wearing shoes. That did not change ahead of Super Bowl LX.

On Opening Night for Super Bowl week, Hollins arrived in a full team-issued track suit complete with his team’s logo and number on it.

While he carried a briefcase with him and wore a durag on his head, Hollins did not wear anything else – going completely barefoot at the event.

It’s not an uncommon sight for the wide receiver, who routinely shows up on gameday without anything adorning his feet regardless of the weather.

Hollins has been seen walking through rain, ice and snow completely barefoot in the past.

He does, however, wear cleats when he takes to the field and will do so this coming Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fans were left confused and concerned by Hollins’ bizarre lack of shoes to such a big event.

‘Ik bro smells funny,’ joked one user on X. Another said, ‘That’s a WILD choice!’

‘Ay that’s bro doe.. he roam the streets like a menace,’ one Patriots fan commented.

Another remarked, ‘S**t is gross.’

Hollins is known for his eccentricities. In addition to he lack of footwear, he doesn’t eat with utensils, rarely drinks water, consumes raw meat and raw milk, claims to have not eaten a vegetable since 2022 and avoids house cats whenever he can.

The fringe wideout just wrapped up one of the best seasons of his career – hauling in 550 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

He’s now off to play in his second career Super Bowl appearance. Ironically, he won Super Bowl LII with the Philadelphia Eagles – beating the Patriots in the title game.

The Seahawks are four-and-a-half point favorites in this re-match as Seattle hopes to get some revenge for their loss in Super Bowl XLIX.
