Business Digitisation Programme for Antrim and Newtownabbey

Grant to help businesses and social enterprises embrace digital tools and technology to boost productivity and competitiveness

Antrim and Newtownabbey Local Economic Partnership (LEP) has launched the LEP Business Digitisation Programme which provides businesses and social enterprises needing small-scale digital upgrades with a grant. 

Grants range from £1,000 to £5,000 (up to 80% of project costs, excluding VAT). All supported projects require a matched co-investment from applicant companies at a minimum of 20% of the overall project costs. 

Eligible upgrades include IT equipment, e-commerce platforms, or cloud software. 

Eligibility criteria 

Businesses should 

  • be based in Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough
  • be a small (10-49 employees), micro business (1-9 employees), or Social Enterprise
  • not be in receipt of other public funding for the same purpose
  • have a Business Digitisation Project or can demonstrate a project central to the theme of Business Digitisation
