Funding to support community, voluntary, and charitable groups to update, enhance, and improve their equipment.

Applications close on Friday 13 February 2026.

Who it is for

Only properly constituted community, voluntary, and charitable groups that have been established for at least ten years and are based in the Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough can apply to this programme.

Support you can get

Capital Equipment Grants are available to update, enhance, and improve facilities and/or equipment, particularly where financial support is limited from other funding sources. 

Two strands are available within this programme.

Capital Premises Grant Fund (Facilities Enhancement) 

Capital project support for applicants who wish to increase capacity or participation through minor improvements to facilities.

Provides 100% funding up to £15,000. Total project cost must not be more than £75,000.

Equipment Grant Fund

Available to purchase equipment that will have a benefit to the group and the community. 

Provides 100% funding up to £5,000. Total project cost must not be more than £15,000.
