The Manchester Central event is one of 12 official conventions worldwide

The UK’s biggest event for Lego fans returns to Manchester in February after a sell-out convention last year.

It will be one of only 12 conventions worldwide that is recognised by the Lego company.

Fans will have the chance to showcase their builds, join activities and buy items.

Here’s what you need to know about the two-day event.

When is it taking place?

Bricktastic will be at Manchester Central on 22 and 23 February.

It will open between 9am and 5pm on both days.

The 9ams slots will be available at a limited capacity for visitors who prefer a more relaxed environment.

What is there to do?

It will feature more than 250 displays, from cars and robots to impressive structures.

Spectators can watch builders compete to make the best displays and get involved in some events, including contributing to mosaic and graffiti walls.

Families can also make their own creations in large play pits.

Pushchair parking and cloakrooms will be near the entrance.

A café will offer food and drinks, alongside a seating area for those bringing their own snacks.
