Bad Bunny will not be wearing a dress during his halftime performance at the Super Bowl, it’s been claimed.
A report this week alleged that the Puerto Rican singer, real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was intending to honor the ‘queer’ community by wearing a gown during the show.
That would certainly have attracted further fury from his MAGA critics but now a new report has revealed that is not the case.
Production sources have told TMZ that he will not be wearing a dress on the field. However, they refused to say what his outfit will look like.
Bad Bunny has been a polarizing choice as the performer for next month’s end-of-season NFL finale in San Francisco.
Donald Trump was among those to criticize the decision, which led to backlash from MAGA-leaning NFL fans and conservative commentators due to his criticism of the administration’s immigration policies.

The artist, who recently refused to tour in the US over concerns that his fans would be targeted by ICE agents, also performs the majority of his songs in Spanish.
On Saturday, Trump revealed he will not be attending the Super Bowl and took a shot at the anti-MAGA artists hired by the NFL to perform at the showpiece game.
As well as Bad Bunny, the NFL announced another nemesis of the President, Green Day, would perform at the opening ceremony in Santa Clara.
Talking to the New York Post, Trump said: ‘I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible.’
But Trump said that if the game was being held closer to the White House, he would have definitely attended.
Trump, who attended the 2025 Super Bowl in New Orleans, explained: ‘It’s just too far away. I would (have gone otherwise). I’ve gotten great hands for the Super Bowl, they like me. I would go if, you know, it was a little bit shorter.’
Green Day have previously changed lyrics in their songs to underline their own anti-MAGA stance.
At Coachella last April, the band changed their lyric in hit song ‘American Idiot’ from ‘I’m not part of a redneck agenda’ to ‘I’m not part of the MAGA agenda’.
