Amid trade rumors linking him with a move away from the Philadelphia Eagles, wide receiver AJ Brown is one of the hottest names on the NFL’s trading block.
Brown put in an incredibly poor performance in the NFC Wild Card round loss to the San Francisco 49ers, with the receiver jawing at head coach Nick Sirianni and displaying overall negative body language.
The day after the defeat, Brown cleaned out his locker and left without speaking to the media.

Particularly, the offense lacked pass catchers. That’s where Brown could come in, with an unnamed NFL executive hinting to ESPN that the Bills could make a move for him.
‘The Bills have to upgrade there — their best receiver is Khalil Shakir, who is a nice player but he’s not a top guy,’ an NFL personnel evaluator told the outlet.
‘Brown is an immediate upgrade and he’s still young [turning 29 in June]. And the Eagles can build the passing game around DeVonta Smith and a high draft pick.’
Buffalo does have the requisite draft capital to pull off a move, owning all of their first-to-fifth round picks through 2028.
Philadelphia could save about $7million in cap space if they trade Brown after June 1.
The outlet reports that other teams could make a move for him, including the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, Las Vegas Raiders and the aforementioned 49ers.
