Uninspiring unbeaten Reds

How the hell are Liverpool on a nine-match unbeaten run?

Ask anybody about the Reds’ form and almost 90 per cent of people would say they have been performing poorly, in fact, even worse than that, they have just been dull.

It may be the most uninspiring unbeaten run I have ever seen, no kidding.

Arne Slot may have stopped the rot in terms of losing matches, but Liverpool have still drawn their last two games against Fulham and Leeds, putting in a pair of drab displays.

They have also dropped points at home to Sunderland and again, away at Leeds, in this run too. How they are fourth in the Premier League baffles me. I really can’t get my head around it.

With how they have been playing and their injury list, I really find it difficult to see them getting anything here tonight.

But still, they aren’t losing games. You can’t have a pop at them too much, even if they are boring to watch.

Let’s not forget, though, these are the Premier League champions – if they do click, they can cause the Gunners some problems.

Whether they will click, though, remains to be seen.
