The NFL is investigating allegations of domestic violence made by Kansas City Chiefs star Rashee Rice’s ex-girlfriend this week, according to reports.
Dacoda Jones, the mother of Rice’s two children, made the shocking accusations on Wednesday in a gruesome social media post which shows cuts and bruises over her body, parts of her home trashed and her clothes ripped apart.
While she did not specifically name him, Jones’ claims appeared to be leveled against the Chiefs wide receiver, who is on a $6.5million contract with the team.
After Kansas City confirmed it is in communication with the league on Wednesday, TMZ has revealed that an NFL investigation into the matter is now underway.
‘We have been in contact with the club about the matter which will be reviewed under the league’s personal conduct policy,’ the NFL is quoted as saying in a statement.
