They may just be the song lyrics going through Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s head right now. Yep, you heard that right.
It is believed that Solskjaer is battling it out with Michael Carrick to take over at Manchester United on an interim basis until the end of the season. What a return that would be, eh?
I must admit, this is all crazy to me. When the news broke about Ruben Amorim’s sacking, I was in the middle of a desert in Saudi Arabia, covering the Dakar Rally with absolutely no signal.
When I got some service eventually, my phone went crazy.
I have to say, the writing was on the wall for Amorim for a very long time, given his lack of flexibility alongside the results.
Now the question is: will Ole return?
