Fresh off the back of his dazzling NFL Christmas Day halftime show, legendary rapper Snoop Dogg stole the headlines yet again at the Arizona Bowl on Saturday.

The 54-year-old was on the sidelines for the game between Fresno State Bulldogs and Miami RedHawks in Tuscon and couldn’t help but get involved in the action.

Snoop was being interviewed by the endzone during a kickoff, with the score tied 3-3, but quickly broke away once he realized that the ball was spiraling towards him.

The 54-year-old took an impressive dive and caught the ball, much to the delight of the crowd, before triumphantly returning to his feet and continuing the interview.

‘My bad, my bad… C’mon, I’m just doing it all today, baby,’ Snoop said. ‘It had to get caught.’

The incredible moment quickly went viral and it’s fair to say fans were loving it.

Taking to X, one wrote: ‘He just out here completing every side quest huh’.

Another said: ‘I’ve said this once. And I’ll say it again. Protect Snoop Dogg at all times’.

‘And it was a clean catch, ball never hit the ground [laughing emojis]’, another wrote.

The Bowl Game was sponsored by the rapper, real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, and his Gin & Juice brand co-owned by Dr Dre.

The rapper and TV personality regularly ventures in the world of sports and has previously been spotted at NFL games or WWE events.

His knowledge of sports even brought the sideline interviewers to ask Snoop about what changes he what made to the College Football Playoff system.

‘The first thing I would change, is, think about basketball, right? The NCAA (Tournament),’ the rapper responded.

‘It’s 64 teams that make the playoffs, right? And it’s always exciting. You never know what’s going to happen.’

‘I would add 24 (to the CFP). I would go 24, take two games out, get all that championship stuff out of the way, and go 24 teams, get cracking, and see who’s going to win it all.’

He continued: ‘There (are) too many teams on the outskirts that don’t get that shot, that they’re always crying and complaining.

‘And when it gets to this time of the season, you really start to understand who are the elite teams. But some of the elite teams’ records don’t reflect that.

‘They became elite as they got moving. So, if you had 24, then there’s no excuse’.

His on-field dramatics came just days after his NFL Christmas Day halftime show was lauded by fans on social media.
