Heartwarming scenes erupted after Australia claimed a nervy victory against England at the Adelaide Oval on Sunday, as Aussie skipper Pat Cummins celebrated on the pitch with his young family.
While England had threatened to pull off what could have been one of the most amazing run chases, it was Mitchell Starc who was once again the hero for Australia, taking a trio of wickets to help his side retain the Urn after going 3-0 up in the Ashes.
It was Scott Boland who took the final wicket of the day, with the Victoria pace bowler dismissing Josh Tongue for one run, sending his team-mates into a frenzy on the pitch.
The Aussies jumped up and down and embraced each other before the celebrations continued back in the changing room.
Cummins, meanwhile, returned to the pitch, where he walked over to the boundary to meet his wife Becky and their young son Albie and their baby daughter Edie.
It was a special moment, with Cummins embracing his wife, before enjoying a kick-about with Albie on the cricket field. The Aussie captain, was also seen giving his son a piggyback around the oval, as they celebrated the epic victory.

Becky also paid a subtle tribute to her husband, painting the number 423 on her nails. The significance of the number is her husband is the 423rd player to have played Test cricket for Australia.
She published a shot of her nails on Instagram, with the caption: ‘Forever @PatCummins.’
Becky is regularly seen supporting her beau as he travels around the world playing cricket, and today, as Cummins took a catch at mid-wicket to dismiss England gloveman Jamie Smith, Becky was seen running along the gantry at the Adelaide Oval carrying Albie, as the pair celebrated the catch.
While there were scenes of jubilation for Australia on Sunday afternoon, Cummins raised further worries about his fitness.
Cummins would go on to take six wickets across both innings, bowling 34 overs in total, but it seems he is still not fully recovered from the lumbar issue that ruled him out of the first two Tests.
‘I doubt I’ll be playing Melbourne,’ Cummins said, before adding that he didn’t want to risk aggravating the problem, after Australia retained the series.
‘And then we’ll have a chat about Sydney.
‘Certainly before the series, it was while the series was live, let’s take on the risk and have a crack at it.
His wife Becky wrote on Instagram: ‘We did it! Couldn’t be prouder of you or happier for you!’

Cummins later added that he could be a doubt for the Boxing Day Test, with the skipper anxious not to over strain his back injury which ruled him out of the first two Tests
‘Now it’s done, I think we need to have a chat about it.’
Cummins also stopped to share a moment with Nathan Lyon who had left the field earlier in the day to save a ball at fine leg.
Lyon appeared to have overstretched to stop the boundary and grabbed his hamstring. He later appeared on the pitch walking with the aid of a set of crutches and his Ashes series now looks to be in serious doubt.
‘It doesn’t look great,’ Cummins said of Lyon.
‘I don’t know yet, but seeing someone on crutches doesn’t really bode well for a Test match a week away.
‘Gaz is pretty close to irreplaceable … but we’ve got some guys who have already had a taste of international cricket around the traps; other guys have done really well in domestic cricket.’
England were chasing a 435 for victory, and had put the pressure on Australia, who had lost spinner Nathan Lyon to injury.
Smith and Will Jacks combined to form a partnership of 91, with the former going on to amass 60 runs, before Starc got the breakthrough, just as England had dropped the required total down to 150 runs.
The left-arm quick would then remove Jacks for 47, with Marnus Labuschagne plucking a beautiful one-handed catch out of the sky to remove the Surrey all-rounder.

England’s hopes of an amazing comeback faded quickly, with Starc also dismissing Jofra Archer for three, while Scott Boland took the final wicket of the day, removing Josh Tongue for one run.
The victory means England’s 14-year wait to win a Test match Down Under will continue, with Australia retaining the Urn for a 10th straight year.
‘It obviously sucks,’ England captain Ben Stokes said.
‘Knowing now that we can’t achieve what we set out to do here is obviously incredibly disappointing now.
‘We have still got two games to go in the series, there is still a hell of a lot to play for… we aren’t going to turn around and kick the stumps over because we lost the series here because there’s still so much more to play for.’
