Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes jetted off for a romantic vacation in Italy at the perfect time on Monday as the Nor’easter storm continued to rip through the East Coast.

Travelers faced significant disruptions on Monday as flights at a number of major US airports suffered delays due to extreme weather conditions.
However, Dunne and baseball-star beau Skenes were able to escape the powerful storm and fly to Taormina – a hilltop town on the east coast of Sicily – for a well-timed getaway this week.
The high-profile couple, who live in New York City, are enjoying a vacation after Skenes’ second MLB season with the Pittsburgh Pirates ended in disappointment last month.
Despite his impressive individual campaign, which saw him put up an MLB-leading 2.03 ERA to go with 209 strikeouts and a .199 batting average against, the pitching sensation failed to make it into the postseason with the 71-91 Pirates.

Pittsburgh’s failure to reach the playoffs means he is free to kick back and relax with girlfriend Livvy a little earlier than anticipated, with the pair heading on a night out in NYC at the start of the month to celebrate her 23rd birthday.
Now the TikTok star and former LSU gymnast is spending some quality time with her man in Italy, where she posted a breathtaking snap of a hilltop view from Taormina to Instagram on Monday.
Dunne also has free time on her hands these days after retiring from gymnastics earlier this year, a difficult decision which brought hear 20-year journey in the sport to an end.
The online personality had five seasons with LSU instead of the traditional four due to being in Baton Rogue during the Covid-19 pandemic. After her final season drew to a close in April, she has since been focusing on her career as a social-media influencer.
She also attended several Pirates games to cheer on Skenes in the 2025 season, with one of her appearances in the stands going viral for the wrong reasons.
After making the trip to Cincinnati to support her boyfriend in his final start of the season last month, a nervous Dunne went viral after fans spotted some awkward armpit sweat stains on the grey shirt that she was wearing.
She was visibly stressed during the start and was at one stage seen holding her arms above her head, which revealed the sweat stains under her armpits.

After posting a gallery of photos from Skenes’ 2025 season, one commenter posted ‘we seen them armpits you ain’t slick’.
She replied, ‘& can you please stop dming me asking to buy the shirt’ with a ‘prayer hands’ emoji and a rose emoji.
On TikTok, one person joked: ‘You put the “pit” in Pittsburgh.’
Dunne then quipped: ‘You’d break a sweat too being a Pirates fan.’
