Discover how employee ownership is transforming succession planning and could potentially work for your business

Employee Ownership Ireland is hosting two upcoming roadshows on employee ownership which will highlight why an increasing number of businesses in Northern Ireland are choosing to sell their businesses to their employees.

At these free events, you will learn how the Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) model is transforming succession planning across the UK and how it could also work for your business or your clients (if you are an adviser).

Event agenda

Andrew Harrison, from Co-ownership Solutions LLP, will explain the EOT model and the business benefits of employee ownership.

Karen Maguire, Chair of Employee Ownership Ireland, will share how they support businesses and advisers exploring employee ownership.

You will also

  • hear directly from Local EOT directors and trustees about their employee ownership journey and why they chose an EOT
  • explore employee ownership as a succession and growth option
  • learn about Department for the Economy feasibility study funding
  • network with advisors and other business leaders

Event details

The roadshows are taking place on Wednesday 15 October 2025 at the following times

  • 830am to 1030am – The MAC, Belfast
  • 130pm to 330pm – Strule Arts Centre, Omagh
