Disgruntled Giants fans set to fly protest banners over stadium again… despite team benching Russell Wilson

Even with Jaxson Dart ready to take the helm of the New York Giants offense, an 0-3 start has left a bad enough taste in fans’ mouths to fly protest banners over MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Multiple planes with disparaging messages have been planned to fly over the East Rutherford, New Jersey home of the Giants during its Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, less than a week after Russell Wilson was benched as the team’s quarterback.

The airplanes to fly over New York’s home ground in protest have come from at least two different companies, per the New York Post.

George Dunner, the sales manager at High Exposure Aerial Advertising, a New Jersey company that rents planes, told the outlet he already booked one plane that will have a negative message about the Giants.

Dunner admitted a second company, AirSign North, has a plane booked for the same reason.

More airplanes could be booked, with only two  allowed to fly over the MetLife Stadium airspace at any a given time, based per flight regulations from the Port Authority of New Jersey and New York.

After Russell Wilson was benched as the team’s quarterback, the negativity continues

Messages possibly directed at Giants president John Mara will fly over MetLife Stadium

Messages possibly directed at Giants president John Mara will fly over MetLife Stadium

Last December, during a Giants game against the New Orleans Saints amid a 3-14 season, planes with negative messages also flew over MetLife Stadium appealing to team president John Mara.

‘MR MARA ENOUGH – PLZ FIX THIS DUMPSTER FIRE,’ one planes’ message read.

‘MR MARA ENOUGH – WE WON’T STOP UNTIL YOU FIRE EVERYONE,’ the second aircraft had on its tail.

Mara did not fire head coach Brian Daboll after last season, with his hot seat only increasing in temperature as the losses pile up.

The Chargers enter the game undefeated, making Dart’s first NFL start a tough assignment.

There is no word on what the messages will state, but knowing Mara, he will not be pleased with whatever they say to his teams’ fans.
