Lionesses captain Leah Williamson and Miss USA, Elle Smith, have shared glamorous behind-the-scenes photos from the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
The star-studded event on Monday night saw Williamson, 28, and Smith, 27, put on their finery to join the great and the good of world football.
Fans took to social media, reacting to the snaps the American shared the following day, with one even referring to them as ‘the new Posh and Becks’.
And their stylist for the evening, Carlotta Constant, posted a comment that read: ‘7th pic though, the most gorgeous couple ever,’ followed by flame and heart emojis.
The seventh picture, posted by Smith to her 151k Instagram followers, was of her and Williamson looking at each other while holding hands.
She captioned the behind-the-scenes montage as ‘a night out in Paris’.

In another image they’re linking arms on a plush velvet sofa, while one more shows them sitting next to each other smiling at the back of a bus.
More behind-the-scenes photos showed Smith having her make-up done prior to the ceremony and a feast of chicken nuggets at the end of the night.
Smith won Miss USA back in 2021 before placing in the top 10 at Miss Universe and she’s now a journalist.
Her followers lapped up the photos with Williamson, as one wrote: ‘I’m obsessed’ and another added that they are both ‘perfect’.
Smith and Williamson have featured together on social media before, with the American sharing a picture of herself alongside the Arsenal women’s captain after their Champions League triumph last season.
It showed Williamson on Smith’s lap with the winner’s medal in her mouth having beaten Barcelona.
Another from a separate occasion showed Williamson sunbathing, stretched out on Smith’s legs on a sofa, while there was also a picture of the England star in what appeared to be a helicopter.

At the glitzy ceremony on Monday evening in the French capital, Williamson was in attendance alongside a number of her Lionesses team-mates following their Euros triumph in the summer.
The 28-year-old was on the red carpet at the Théâtre du Châtelet and she was up for the Ballon d’Or award alongside England team-mates Chloe Kelly, Alessia Russo, Lucy Bronze and Hannah Hampton.
Williamson, who captained England the Euros triumph as well as being the rock at the back for a Champions League win, finished 7th.
Spain and Barcelona star Aitana Bonmati took home the top prize, while Ousmane Dembele walked away as the men’s Ballon d’Or winner on the night.
Williamson has been out of action at the start of the WSL season due to injury.

She was unable to take part in pre-season for the Gunners at their pre-season camp in Germany back in August and is still fighting back to fitness.
She reported back with swelling in her right knee and had a successful operation to clean it out.
Williamson played the full 90 minutes and extra time for England in their epic win on penalties over Spain and is expected back in action within weeks.
