An unfortunate video of Stefon Diggs’s teammates explaining why they wouldn’t want him to date their sister has resurfaced amid the news of him expecting a baby with girlfriend Cardi B.
The rapper, 32, announced the news on Wednesday morning after weeks of speculation. She started dating Diggs around October 2024 and it will be her fourth baby and his second.
Back in 2017, a time where NFL teams weren’t quite as dry with some of the content they produce with their players, a reporter went into the Minnesota Vikings locker room and quizzed players on one very awkward question: ‘Which teammate would you least like to date your sister?’
Diggs was the resounding answer but the clip is even more remarkable given the manner in which his teammates deliver their verdicts.
Dalvin Cook, the older brother of Buffalo Bills running back James, laughed as he was asked the question but his face quickly turned serious as he answered: ‘Diggs.’
He was asked to explain but simply said: ‘Man, no. Gonna leave it like that.’

Laquon Treadwell, a Vikings wide receiver, was happier to give some details.
‘Diggs, he’s just crazy. He’s outrageous. Don’t know what he’s going to say, just don’t know what to expect every day. He couldn’t date my sister.’
Treadwell’s fellow wide receiver Adam Thielen was just as emphatic.
‘Diggs, 100%,’ he said in answer to the question. ‘Because he is just not a guy that you want to bring home to your parents. You don’t want your sister to bring him home to your parents and therefore, he can’t date them.’
Diggs was then told about the verdict from his teammates and seemed genuinely surprised to hear the news.
‘Nobody want me to date their sister? I’m a great guy,’ he said. ‘I’m actually a great guy! People feel differently about me?’
He was then asked the same question and answered: ‘(Stephen) Wetherley.’ Diggs then erupted into laughter as he added: ‘Because he is ugly!’
Now at the New England Patriots, Diggs has yet to speak out on his exciting personal news.
But some mischeivous fans helped the clip about Diggs resurface in light of the news.
‘Feels like a great day to bring this video back for no reason at all,’ one NFL wrote on X as they shared the video.
