Premier League clubs spent a record £3.11billion on transfer fees over the summer but, two weeks on from the close of the English transfer window, many free agents remain on the market.

Released before the deadline, they are eligible to sign for clubs now, outside of the window.

Here Daily Mail Sport highlights 10 of the bargains that can still be picked up.

Fraser Forster

The 37-year-old played four times for Spurs in their successful Europa League campaign last season and has amassed over 480 appearances during a career that has seen him claim honours at Norwich City, Celtic and Southampton.

Homegrown, his experience could yet prove vital as back-up with clubs looking to increase competition for their first-choice keepers especially with a proven Premier League track record.

Sergio Reguilon

The former Tottenham, Manchester United and Real Madrid left-back had been mooted for a return to Brentford where he had a spell on loan a year ago.

West Ham, Everton and Nottingham Forest also looked as they contemplated left-back options amid injury issues and departures.

The 28-year old is weighing up options with some offers from abroad to consider also having previously flirted with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Craig Dawson

The former Wolves and West Ham stalwart was frozen out at Molineux following the arrival of coach Vitor Pereira.

Despite his lack of first team action, Birmingham City made a concerted attempt to sign him over the summer aware of his reliability and effectiveness at set-pieces.

The 35-year old, who has also been approached by Wrexham and Blackburn Rovers, is still being courted by different clubs as he assesses where next to go.

Liam Cooper

Former Leeds United captain has just cancelled his contract at CSKA Sofia and is looking at a return to the UK.

The Scotland international not long turned 34 but has been keeping himself in shape after cutting short his spell in Bulgaria.

His leadership qualities have also attracted firm interest from Sheffield Wednesday in recent weeks after their embargo was lifted but the EFL have still been reluctant to sanction the move.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Birmingham City and Leeds United have both discussed the merits of the 32-year old who left Besiktas at the end of the summer after a frustrating two-year spell.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has 35 England caps, joined Besiktas from Liverpool. He went on to make 44 appearances for the Turkish side across all competitions, scoring five goals and adding one assist.

Tom Lawrence

The former Rangers forward has been courted by the likes of Wrexham and Stockport County this summer.

Now 31, the Wales international is attracting interest from Championship side Sheffield Wednesday and Persian Gulf Pro League side Sepahan based in Iran. Saudi club Neom have also checked on the ex-Ipswich Town attacker.

Emmanuel Dennis

Still only 27, Dennis left Nottingham Forest by mutual consent towards the end of the window.

The Nigeria international remains ambitious to play at the highest level so, despite interest from various leagues, he has been holding out for a deal that can give him the platform to rekindle the kind of form that made him such a stand-out performer for Watford in 2020-21.

Dele Alli

The 29-year old left Como after just one game and the Italian club stated he wanted more regular game time rather than early retirement as he weighs up his next move.

There has been talk around a deal with ambitious Wrexham but the prospect of linking up with his former Spurs teammate Ryan Mason at West Bromwich Albion has also been floated.

Birmingham City and clubs in La Liga have also shown a level of interest in the ex England midfielder.

Nathan Redmond

After leaving Burnley at the end of last season, Redmond has maintained his fitness throughout the summer, firstly on camp in Portugal then looking for opportunities to get back into the league.

Along with Danny Ings and Ben Mee, he had been training at Sheffield United but, unlike his colleagues, left without agreeing a contract.

Manager Ruben Selles has since lost his job with the Blades while 31-year old former Southampton winger Redmond explores other opportunities.

Patrick Bamford

After being released by Leeds United, Bamford has had various degrees of interest from English, Saudi and MLS clubs but has still to receive a suitable offer.

Now 32, the former England international made 18 appearances last season but niggling injuries prompted Leeds boss Daniel Farke to part ways.
