Premier League gameweek four came to an end with Man City emerging as 3-0 winners against rivals Man United in their derby clash on Sunday.

Phil Foden opened the scoring at the Etihad, before an Erling Haaland brace sealed a comfortable victory for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The result proved a good one for several fans taking part in Daily Mail Sport’s Predictor, capping off a strong gameweek of predictions.

An impressive total of 115 players correctly predicted the results of seven Premier League fixtures this weekend.

The group benefited from injury time goals in two matches this weekend, with Brentford equalising late on against Chelsea, while Liverpool won late on Sunday at Burnley.

FowlFemurGrowth topped the gameweek leaderboard after being the only player to predict the first goal at the Etihad would be scored in the 18th minute.

In the Daily Mail Sport league, Kieran Gill had a perfect week by correctly predicting seven results. He was also just five minutes away with his guess at when the first goal between Man City and Man United would be scored.

Jack Gaughan followed with six correct results, while Nathan Salt had five accurate predictions.

Lewis Steele had offered his predictions publicly to preview the weekend on Friday and made four correct selections.

Everton and Chelsea let him down by failing to win, while Lewis had also predicted the Manchester derby would end in a draw.

The Toffees were held to a goalless draw by Aston Villa on Saturday, while Chelsea conceded deep into injury time to draw 2-2 away at Brentford.

The weekend had begun with Arsenal earning a 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest as Ange Postecoglou suffered defeat in his first match in his new job.

Newcastle earned a 1-0 victory at home against Wolves, while Tottenham cruised to a 3-0 victory over 10-man West Ham in their London derby on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool remain perfect this season, but only just, after Mohamed Salah’s stoppage time penalty secured a 1-0 win away against Burnley.
