The extent of Joe Burrow’s foot injury has been revealed after the Bengals quarterback was ruled out of his team’s win over the Jaguars.
Burrow limped out of the game and went to the locker room after taking a sack in the second quarter.
Now, it’s been reported by Fox 19’s Jeremy Rauch that the passer has turf toe with torn ligaments.
Rauch added that the ‘expectation’ is that Burrow, 28, would miss several weeks of action.
Burrow was seen in pain roughly midway through the second quarter as he sat on the ground and received medical attention.
He had gone to the ground moments before in awkward fashion after being sacked by Arik Armstead.
He ultimately needed assistance to walk off of the field as he was replaced by backup Jake Browning.
