An hour and a half before kickoff of their rivalry game, Florida and LSU football players squared off in multiple scuffles on the field.
With the game set to begin at 7:30pm ET from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the players took to the field hours before hand to warm up and go through their routines.
At some point, the two sets of players got together and began pushing and shoving while yelling back and forth.
A large crowd of players from both sidelines gathered around as coaches and officials tried to break up the scrum.
It seemed that cooler heads would prevail, only for a second altercation to start up again.
An official was seen coming over to break up the melee and threw a penalty flag.

On the other hand, Florida began their season 15th, rose to 13th, and then fell out of the top-25 after a loss to unranked South Florida.
